when they were not. 2. Jnralg 42/C sometimes sometimes asked for 1 as a coefficient for the variable. 3. JnrAlg 12 has been modified to comply with the definition that a coefficient must be a constant (i.e. can not contain variables) 4. The hintline in JnrAlg 11 read 'decreasing' order instead of 'alphabetical' order. |
| 2.6.2 | 16/05/2005 | 1. JnrAlg 31 sometimes required "1f" or "1d" instead of just "f" or "d". |
| 2.6.1 | 14/04/2005 | 1. Jnralg 33/E occasionally added the exponents incorrectly. |
| 2.6.0 | 17/03/2005 | 1. JnrAlg 15/B sometimes added positive and negative terms incorrectly. |
| 2.5.8 | 03/03/2005 | 1. JnrAlg 18B occasionally gave an 'Error
9 - subscript out of range error. This has been corrected. 2. JnrAlg 37/C required certain terms be entered non-alphabatical order. This has been corrected. |
| 2.5.7 | 01/02/2005 | 1. JnrAlg 43 has had two levels added which
combine 'perfect square' factorsiation with 'difference of squares'
factorisation. 2. JnrAlg-37C had a missing variable in the second bracket. 3. JnrAlg-63 : The last line was sometimes covered by the Hintline. 4. JnrAlg 14 - A hint has been added indicating the terms must be entered alphabetically. 5. JnrAlg-27 asked for the answer in scientific notation when it actually meant in normal notation. |
| 2.5.6 | 03/01/2005 | 1.JnrAlg 96 - The font has been made bigger so that the exponents are more readable. |
| 2.5.3 | 08/11/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 15 placed the surrounding box over the sum on certain screen resolutions. |
| 2.5.1 | 18/10/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 24 marked the whole sum right as
long as the first coefficient was correct. 2. JnrAlg 22/B will now accept a simplified coefficient e.g. 16 instead of 4 squared. |
| 2.4.3 | 12/10/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 22 would require 1 to be entered
as a coefficient e.g. 1x. 2. JnrAlg 15/B occasionally omitted a sign, resulting in it requiring and displaying an incorrect answer. 3. JnrAlg 97 accepted any answer as correct as long as the first term was correct. This has been corrected. 4. JnrAlg 16 now accepts the answers in any order, and even accepts the final answer without the steps. |
| 2.4.2 | 04/10/2004 |
1. JnrAlg 18 presented only subtraction sums. It now presents both
addition and subtraction, as well as allows for special cases when
a coefficient is 0. |
| 2.4.0 | 31/08/2004 | 1. Junior Algebra 44 did not display everything that was entered, causing sums to look right and be marked wrong. This has been corrected. |
| 2.3.3 | 10/08/2004 | 1 Junior Algebra 57 displayed junk after the
first sum. This has been corrected. 2. Junior Algebra 93 gave the same question over and over again. This has been corrected. 3. JnrAlg 84 sometimes generated an 'Overflow: division by zero" error. This has been corrected. 4. Junior Algebra, 14, now presents more varied and challenging questions. |
| 2.3.2 | 13/07/2004 | 1. The unloading of modules has been improved, resulting in increased stability during test editing. |
| 2.3.1 | 28/06/2004 | 1. The errors and the 'Shift + F1' hotkey dump are now displayed in a more user-friendly language. |
| 2.2.3 | 22/06/2004 | 1. Whilst in 'Test' mode, the progress counters on the left occasionally reset to "0/0". This has been corrected. |
| 2.2.2 | 07/06/2004 | 1. Junior Algerbra 22 did not allow the entering of the powers 9 or 0. This has been corrected. |
| 2.2.1 | 03/06/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 72 had comments overlapping the text. This has been corrected. |
| 2.2.0 | 20/05/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 83 to 84 gave incorrect exercise
headers 2. JnrAlg, Long division of polynomails, always asked the same question, as was incorrect to boot. 3. JnrAlg 84 sometimes required a triple digit denominator to be calculated. The some now endures smaller LCD can be found. |
| 2.1.0 | 27/04/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 34, Level D, now uses the same
variable with different powers in each bracket. 2. JnrAlg 52 displayed garbage after the first sum. This, as well as various comment alignment issues, has been corrected. 3. Jnralg 27, Scientific notation has been added. 4. Junior algebra 26 marked every answer correct. 5. Junior algebra 85 had various fraction alignment issues. 6. Junior Algebra 98 displayed confusing lines in the help 7. Junior Algebra 99 had an incorrect header. Junior Algebra 99 sometimes required a bracket which was not fully factorized. |
| 2.0.0 | 15/03/2004 | 1. JnrAlg 86/B, sometimes had numerators
and denominators with a one preceeding the variable e.g. 1p. This has
been corrected. 2. JnrAlg 86 displayed different sums for the same input string, thus resulting in Test questions appearing differently. This has been corrected. 3. JnrAlg 22 and 23 not accept simplified brackets i.e. 2² for (-2)². 4. Various alignment issues in JnrAlg 56 have been cleaned up. 6. An inaccuracy in the timing of exercises resulted in incorrect times being recorded. This has been corrected. 7.
